Trust schools celebrate best exam results since Covid

We are delighted to with pupils' outcomes this year across Skinners' Academies Trust, with several of our schools recording their best outcomes since Covid.

At post-16, results rose at every school. Skinners Kent Academy achieved its best-ever average points score, A* grades and A*-B results, with value-added measures expected to place it among the top 10-15% of schools nationally. Skinners' Academy also recorded the best results in its history, with analysis suggesting a top 10% outcome. The Marsh Academy sustained a four-year upward trend, and over 100 students have joined Year 12 this month, the highest number in several years.

GCSE results were equally encouraging. To pick just two highlights, Students at Skinners Kent Academy saw the best outcomes at grade 7 and above in their history, and Skinners' Academy posted its strongest GCSE outcomes ever. 

In the primary phase, Skinners Temple Grove's results improved significantly in every area. We are very proud of the hard work and dedication of the headteacher and senior leadership team, and of the support we have provided as a Trust to take them on a positive journey since they joined in 2024. 

The results affirm the Trust's approach of school-to-school collaboration with local autonomy, which has underpinned consistent improvement since 2023.
