Our Teams

Sian was Director of Education at AISL Harrow between 2019-2021. She oversaw the work of all the Harrow International Schools in Asia, based in the company’s headquarters in Hong Kong.

Until very recently she has been working as the Senior Education Adviser to the group, supporting the leadership development within each of the schools. Sian was an Executive Principal and Principal for many years, opening Skinners’ Kent Academy in Tunbridge Wells in 2009 which received an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspection judgement in all areas in 2016.

Previously, Sian was Operational Director, Stakeholders & Networks, at the National College for School Leadership in Nottingham. Her role involved developing a leadership network for all school leaders in England which enabled the voice of practice to be heard and shared.

Before this Sian was Director of the Eastern Leadership Centre based in Cambridge, a charitable partnership company which promoted excellent leadership development opportunities across the East of England. Sian has been Chair and Director of IBSCA (a body representing IB schools in the UK) and is Past President of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), which represents 18,000 school leaders in the UK.
