Our Team

Ian Anderson is Director of Education for the Skinners’ Company and Senior Executive Leader of the new Skinners’ Academies Trust. He joined the Skinners’ Company in 2021 from Ambition Institute, where he held several senior strategy and operational leadership roles, and was previously in the international education team at Ark.

Ian has wide-ranging experience in the education, charity leadership and commercial worlds. He holds a Masters from Oxford University and has been a school governor for fifteen years in both primary and secondary schools. His guiding passion through his career has been to improve opportunities and life chances for all, and he is very much looking forward to bringing that passion to the Skinners’ Academies Trust.
