Profile
Graduating from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Law, William spent twelve years practising as a lawyer, firstly as a Barrister and latterly as a Solicitor at CMS Cameron McKenna. In 1995 he starting working for Arthur Andersen initially as a lawyer before transitioning to consultancy work, specialising in Board governance. In 2002 William joined Deloitte as a partner where he remained until his retirement in 2021. William is a Skinner and a member of the Court of the Skinners’ Company. Having previously chaired the Education Committee of the Skinners’ School in Tunbridge Wells, William became the Chair of its Governors in 2020. He also Chairs the JCA Foundation, a large grant making charity. William has four children and lives in London.
