Profile
Johnny grew up in Kent and went to school in Tonbridge. He studied classics, philosophy and theology at university, where his main achievements were marrying Jill (now a retired head teacher) and securing a job at the John Lewis Partnership, where he is a Trustee and has moved from shop floor, through IT into governance. He has been a school governor both through his church and as a member of the Skinners' Company, most recently as chair at Skinners' School. He is half Viennese, so enjoys singing and skiing, but in recognition of his age also loves gardening and being a grandparent. His children were all Kent educated and are now working as an opera singer in Germany, a DJ in Colorado and in education at Lincoln's Inn.
